Antigo Presidente acusou de difama\u00e7\u00e3o uma antiga colunista a quem ele tem de pagar uma indemniza\u00e7\u00e3o de cinco milh\u00f5es de d\u00f3lares<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Um juiz federal em Nova Iorque rejeitou nesta segunda-feira, 7, um processo apresentado pelo anterior Presidente Donald Trump no qual ele alega ter sido difamado pela ex-colunista E. Jean Carroll num processo em que ele foi considerado culpado por abusar sexualmente dela, uma loja na d\u00e9cada de 1990.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ele foi absolvido, entretanto, da acusa\u00e7\u00e3o de viola\u00e7\u00e3o sexual.

Trump tentou virar o jogo contra a ex-colunista da revista Elle, de 79 anos de idade, ao entrar com seu pr\u00f3prio processo em junho, argumentando que Carroll o difamou ao continuar dizendo \u00e0 imprensa que ele a violou, apesar do veredito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Na sua decis\u00e3o, o juiz Lewis Kaplan disse que as declara\u00e7\u00f5es de Carroll de que Trump a violou s\u00e3o “substancialmente verdadeiras”.
O antigo Presidente foi condenado a pagar a Carroll uma indemniza\u00e7\u00e3o de 5 milh\u00f5es.
Ele nega as acusa\u00e7\u00f5es e recorreu da decis\u00e3o.
Carroll pediu novas indemniza\u00e7\u00f5es depois que Trump a chamou de “maluca” na CNN, um dia ap\u00f3s a leitura da senten\u00e7a do julgamento civil.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
